Most of our plugins require activation through Plugin Alliance, our primary distributor. The direct sales on our website support us directly, so we deeply appreciate your purchase, especially with the additional steps required. There are two primary steps: License Redemption and Activation. License Redemption only needs to happen once. Activation is done on each machine that you intend to use the plugins on.
When purchasing through our website, you will receive two emails. The first email is simply the receipt. This is an email from Shopify and will look like this:
The second email is from SendOwl. This email is more important as it contains your license keys and download link. It looks like this:
The download link contains a simple, standalone installer. You do not need to install Plugin Alliance's Installation Manager if you do not want it, though it is included as an alternative.
License Redemption
The license key is a voucher that is used for redemption on Plugin Alliance's website. If you do not have a Plugin Alliance account, you need to create one here:

NOTE: This is not the same as an Unfiltered Audio account. Purchasing a plugin through our website does not automatically create a Plugin Alliance account.
Next up, you will need to redeem the vouchers on Plugin Alliance's web store. Their instructions are here:

Let's look at Battalion as an example. First, you need to search for Battalion on the Plugin Alliance store, and then add it to your cart. Here is the Battalion page: https://www.plugin-alliance.com/products/battalion
After adding it to your cart, you will need to click Checkout. You will not be charged again for this next step. If you are not yet signed in to your Plugin Alliance account, you will be required to sign in before checkout. The checkout page will look like this:
In the "Discount code" box, add the license key from your Sendowl email. This will provide a 100% discount. Complete the checkout process, and the Unfiltered Audio plugin will now be added to your Plugin Alliance account.
Activation
Now that the license has been redeemed to your Plugin Alliance account, you can activate the plugin to use on your machine. First, load the plugin into the DAW of your choice (Ableton Live, Bitwig, REAPER, Pro Tools, Logic, etc.). You will see an activation popup similar to this one. If not, click the key icon on the bottom-right of the plugin:
Click "I'm Online" to use your Plugin Alliance account to activate the plugin. NOTE: You must use your Plugin Alliance account to sign in, not your Unfiltered Audio account. If you have a valid license on your Plugin Alliance account (using the license redemption steps above), the activation should happen immediately. If it doesn't find a license, it will offer to create a 14-day demo license. If that occurs, then it is possible that you did not redeem the license properly in the previous steps.
